Job Description

S & T Fencing is looking for dependable, hard‑working Fence Laborers to join our growing team in Central Kentucky. This position involves working outdoors as part of a crew to install residential and commercial fencing. No two days are exactly the same, and we’re looking for team players who aren’t afraid of physical work and take pride in what they build.

What You’ll Do

As a Fence Laborer, you’ll work closely with your foreman and crew members to complete fencing projects safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the installation of all types of fencing (residential and commercial)
• Loading and unloading trucks with tools, materials, and equipment for each job
• Digging holes and setting fence posts
• Helping with measuring, positioning, and securing fence panels and materials
• Cleaning up job sites after work is completed
• Following directions from the foreman and supporting the crew as needed

Additional Duties

We stay busy year‑round, but during slower periods or bad weather, you may also help with:

• Yard and shop work at our office
• Assembling gates, kennels, or fencing materials
• General cleaning and organization of the garage or office
• Assisting walk‑in customers by helping gather materials or supplies
• Unloading material deliveries, which may include operating a forklift (training provided if needed)

Welder / Fabrication Specialist

Job Description S & T Fencing is looking for a skilled and dependable Welder to join our team in Central Kentucky. This position focuses primarily on fabrication work, including building custom gates and dog kennels, with occasional support in other areas of our fencing operation.

If you enjoy hands‑on fabrication, working in a shop environment, and being part of a small team that pitches in when needed, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do

As a Welder at S & T Fencing, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Fabricating custom gates, dog kennels, and metal fence components
• Reading measurements and working from basic plans or instructions
• Operating welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensuring quality workmanship and strong, clean welds
• Keeping tools and work areas organized and safe

Additional Responsibilities

From time to time, you may also assist with:

• Yard or shop work at our office
• Helping wait on walk‑in customers or assisting with material needs
• General cleanup or organization
• Supporting a fencing crew on job sites when extra help is needed (This won’t happen often, but flexibility is appreciated.)
